About Me
Hi, I’m Jiedi Mo, a Gameplay Engineer and game developer passionate about building interactive systems that make games feel immersive, responsive, and memorable.
I recently completed my undergraduate studies in Computer Science with a Game Development emphasis at the University of Utah and am continuing my journey at the University of Southern California in the MS in Computer Science – Game Development program.
My work focuses on gameplay systems, combat mechanics, AI behaviors, player interaction, and game feel. I enjoy designing modular systems that balance technical performance with engaging player experiences. Across projects developed in Unreal Engine, Unity, and GameMaker Studio, I’ve worked on gameplay engineering, enemy AI, UI systems, procedural mechanics, VFX integration, and iterative playtesting.
I’m especially interested in gameplay engineering, systems design, and the intersection between technical architecture and player experience. Long term, I hope to contribute to ambitious game projects for creating immersive and meaningful interactive worlds.
When I’m not developing games, I enjoy exploring game systems, analyzing player experience design, and learning new technologies that expand interactive storytelling and gameplay possibilities.
